About me

I am a Nashville-based software engineer with a passion for building applications and websites that are as beautiful as they are functional.

With years of professional experience working in digital production and social media at Time Out and Red Bull, I decided to further develop my technical skills and pursue a career in software engineering. I was accepted into App Academy, where I successfully completed a rigorous full stack web development curriculum covering top in-demand programming languages and frameworks, good software design and best-practices, advanced algorithms and data structures, and more.

My current technical stack includes: JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, React, Redux, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Express/Node.js, HTML, CSS.

When I'm not sitting behind a computer screen, I can be found in the gym! I also enjoy DJing, boxing, spending time with my dog and caring for my many plants.

Built with a Ruby on Rails backend and a React/Redux frontend.

An in-browser video game inspired by Google Chrome's offline Dino game. Showcased core concepts in object-oriented programming using native DOM Manipulation in Vanilla JavaScript, and utilized the Canvas API to draw and animate all game graphics.

Collaborated with a team of four engineers to create a unique project utilizing the MERN Stack—demonstrating the significant advantages of using an end-to-end framework for easier and faster deployment of full-stack web applications.
